travelling to Norway:
Airplane is the most convenient way to travel to Norway. Oslo airport is just about an hour away from majors airports in the UK and most of the plane companies will fly direct. Lowcost companies have very good prices even for a short visit or a week end ride in Oslo for example.

Raynair flies direct to Trop airport (2 hours from Oslo). Norwegian has direct routes between Oslo airport and Edinburgh and both London Standsted & Gatwick airports.
Sterling flies direct to Oslo airport from both East midlands and London Gatwick airports

  Travelling with your bike:
All the plane companies above will carry your bike on the plane. Please check their terms and conditions for regulations and fares.

Short about Norway:

The Kingdom of Norway is often associated with the Midnight sun, and the Vikings Fjords but it is often forgotten about the deep forests and high mountains that provide an infinite potential for trail riders and freeriders! Norway has kept its ecosystem virtually intact, only 4% of the land is cultivated, or built and there is virtually no restriction for riding mountain bikes. Yes, Norway is a singletrack paradise!

The Norwegian climate is reasonably tempered thanks to the Gulf Stream; in summer temperatures can easily exceed 25 degrees Celsius. Further north, beyond the Arctic circle the sun does not set during the night ... This allows us to ride 24/7! Yes Norway is a mountain biker paradise!

Riding in Norway:

The riding conditions are everything from large gravel roads to technical singletracks. Forest and landscape can easily be compared to those that can be found in the Alps. Though, Norwegian trails are less used than in Europe, which can makes them a bit more challenging, with roots and slippery rock. Nevertheless, the great network of trials and our knowledge of the area, we help us to find a route that will always fits to the level of the group for the pleasure of all.http://www.ssb.no/english/subjects/00/minifakta_en/fr/index.htmlshapeimage_7_link_0
